My lovely mum with the baby blue eyes.

Missed more than words can say. I nursed you for a long time mum but you were the best patient in the world. I remember you saying:- 'All this for a pair of wings.'
You got your wings mum!

Lots of love,

Frances

Alan Pemberton

Through veils of peace may you ascend
To promised planes above
Where comfort shall await you
In those summerlands of love.

Although my grief is deep and raw
Although my pain is great
I know that you are still with me
I know that you will wait.

For in God's time we'll meet again
Of this I am quite sure
I loved you so much on this earth
In absence even more.

Your brother Edward McLaren

On this special day mum, I remember the terrible loss you suffered for your brother Edward (Eddie) McLaren. Lost in July 1943 aged just 19 years on the ship 'California'.
Thinking of you and missing you so much.

The Magic of a Mother's Touch

There's magic in a Mother's touch,
and sunshine in her smile.
There's love in everything she does
to make our lives worthwhile.
We can find both hope and courage
Just by looking in her eyes.
Her laughter is a source of joy,
her works are warm and wise.
There is a kindness and compassion
to be found in her embrace,
and we see the light of heaven
shining from a Mother's face.

For you mum!

I wish you were here to see the book mum. It really is lovely and dedicated to you of course.

I hope you are looking down and can see it. I miss you so much. You have your sister with you now, the last of your side of the family. In fact the last of both sides now.

I remember you every day. I just wish we could have had just one more day together.

Much love mum.

The last book you read......

Just popping in to let you know that the book you read has now been joined by two others and they are to be published as a trilogy in one book.
You told me I could do it and you were right. I just wish you were here to join in my success, but you aren't, and life is so empty without you.

I miss you so much mum.
